Many people are looking for affordable, functional sewing machines and many have machines they no longer use. We want to help you clear out your space and help others find a machine.

Consign, Donate, or Sell Your Sewing Machine

If you have a used sewing machine or serger you would like to consign, donate, or sell, please bring it in during open hours or contact the shop by phone or email. We can also do pickups in Bangor and the surrounding area. 

We will:

• Test out the machine to assess features and functionality
• Obtain the instruction manual and basic accessories if they are missing
• Bring it in for servicing in some cases
  
• List it for sale in store and online, connect to buyers, and handle the transaction

Sewing Machine Sales Fund Our Workshop

All profit from the sales of sewing machines will fund the purchase of sewing machines for our community workshop and to keep them regularly serviced. We will be offering sliding scale, low cost classes to learn to sew and will have hourly machine rental for drop-in use.

We currently have two machines and a serger for the workshop space, and intend to purchase five more machines plus an industrial model.
